The Color Zoom Challenge has evolved into a new and exciting global competition to showcase unlimited creativity. 2020 is the year of major change. For the first time Goldwell invites stylists to enter the Global Creative Awards – a whole new global competition focused exclusively on creativity. This new competition is the next evolution of the Goldwell Color Zoom Challenge. “In the past we invited hairdressers to show their interpretation of the current Goldwell collection in the Color Zoom Challenge. In 2020, it’s time to give our stylists the chance to show their full creativity without any limitations,” says John Moroney, Global Creative Director of Goldwell. The key difference with the new Global Creative Awards is that stylists are now free to create an entry showing their own unique vision, rather than having to use Goldwell’s annual trend as the basis for their creation. Today’s stylists want to show their own creativity and not ‘copy/paste’ someone else’s inspiration. Now is the time to take the chance to show the world what a true creative does: Imagine, Create and Inspire. Stylists can compete in two different ways - the Technical Awards with different categories and the Editorial Awards with new categories. TECHNICAL AWARDS The Technical Awards start with a photo shoot entry, and continue with a live technical competition. The participants of the technical categories will compete at the national level in their country, and then the Gold winners move on to the International live competition. EDITORIAL AWARDS New and exciting categories of photo-only competition, celebrating the ultimate in editorial creativity. The participants of the editorial categories have to compete globally in this Photo-Only International Competition. Gold Winners in both categories will be well rewarded for their creative efforts. In addition to their trophy, they will receive global editorial coverage from Goldwell as well as the opportunity to participate in a Goldwell photo shoot (Technical Categories) and other prizes (Editorial Categories). The winners of the first Global Creative Awards will be announced at the Kao Salon Global Experience Event which will be held in Amsterdam in October 2020. The functions, duties and powers of an Agent is encapsulated within the Labour Relations Act. The Agent’s main function is to ensure that the stipulations within the Council Agreement, are adhered to, by both the employer and employee. Their functions are also to educate you on the stipulations in the Main Agreement, for example: • Identify themselves, as per their Agent ID Cards • Explain the meaning of the conditions of employment. (As per the Registration Pack) • Explain the rules and benefits of the National Sick Pay Fund • Explain the benefits of the National Pension Fund • Explain the different levies, and the contributions to the Union and EOHCB. • Explain how the Returns (Accounts) are generated, and what the items on the Returns mean. (there is an explanatory document that assist the employers with this) • Explain procedures, in terms of Dispute Resolution, and how to refer matters through the Council. Q: When did you start the suites? A: A year ago in November 2018. It’s our birthday celebration now and we can’t believe how the place is pumping! Q: How have you seen suite owners grow?
