Should you decide to sign up to receive the Hairnews mailers, the only personal information that is required is the following: Your name and surname, email address, a phone number, your area (province), and to specify whether you are a salon owner / hairstylist / apprentice / media person or other. Any additional Personal Information voluntarily provided by you for any reason will be retained and treated with utmost confidence.

  5. Use of your Personal Information. Personal Information provided by you is used to send you the daily e-newsletter which contains relevant hairdressing industry information. Should there be any problems in sending this (i.e. a bounced email) we will use your alternative contact information to communicate with you and update the relevant information. The company will not use your personal information for any purpose (other than as stated above) without your express consent. We will not use or disclose your personal information to third parties, unless the use or disclosure is:
    1. required in order to comply with applicable law, order of court or legal process served on the company and /or
    2. disclosure is necessary to protect and defend the rights or property of the company.

If you wish to stop receiving mailers you may also simply reply to the email and request to be removed and we will remove you immediately and permanently from our mailing list.

  11. Interactions With Third Parties. If you disclose your Personal Information to a third party, such as an entity which operates a website linked to this website or anyone other than the company, the company shall not be liable for any loss or damage, howsoever arising, suffered by you as a result of the disclosure of such information to the third party.
