  • Styles: REvision by Chung-Yang Su, Chiseled Hair, Australia

For me this is the year of change. Moving from the salon I had been at for over 9 years and joining a new salon. Creating a new start with the new people in a new environment. Included in this comes other challenges in relation to different products, stepping away from the familiar products I had been using for over 15 years. These new barriers wrought from change have been scary. But this brings a new level of focus and engagement in an industry I am so passionate about. A re-evaluation of how I work, not just from changing to a new colour or styling product, but working with new people in a different salon, culture and environment. It’s about having a different mindset of where my career is going and where I want to be. The collection “REVision” is more about experiencing and experimenting with new products and colours working alongside new team members, building relationships in conjunction with generating different looks from an altered state of mind. • Styles: To the Ritz by Lisa Schoor, Canada

The inspiration for my Ritz Collection came from two sources, the 1960's hairstyles and the photographer Herb Ritts. The use of accessories to enhance unique styles were so top fashion. I was inspired by how the hair was exaggerated and edgy. As far as Herb Ritts, he was amazing at capturing sensual black & white photos. Knowing that he was mostly self-taught inspires me to push, create and dream. Anything is possible! • Milkshake Silver Shine Range: The Secret to Perfect Blondes

Blonde hair requires specialist care to keep it shiny and healthy – bleaching, washing, pollution and brushing all take their toll on its natural beauty. Why does Blonde go Yellow? Blonde (and grey) looks its best when it takes on pastel tones. Unwanted yellow tones mean a perception of aging, unhealthy hair. UV rays, pollution and other aggressors can all deteriorate natural blonde hair – and as for lightened hair, it’s a sad fact that the yellow pheomelanin in the hair is more resistant to oxidation and becomes more visible over time! milk_shake has the answer with their incredible new Silver Shine range. This range neutralises yellow and golden tones in blonde, bleached and grey hair. It enhances the natural tone of the hair while revitalising it with softness, manageability and shine. The range includes: Silver Shine Shampoo with violet pigment, enriched with organic mixed berry extracts and milk protein. Silver Shine Whipped Cream, a creamy conditioning mousse with milk proteins, organic mixed berries and Integrity 41, giving perfect condition while preserving hair colour. NEW: Silver Shine Light Shampoo contains a specific violet pigment to neutralize the most subtle unwanted yellow tones in white, grey, blonde or lightened hair. This means it has a more subtle tonal effect than Silver Shine Shampoo. All shampoos are enriched with milk proteins and organic berry extracts for radiant, soft, healthy hair and are SLS and SLES-free. With the addition of Silver Shine Light Shampoo to the milk_shake range, clients can customise and personalise their blonde maintenance, to create exactly the tonal result they want, with fantastic, shiny, healthy hair. Products have a sensationally gorgeous, berry-flowery scent that clients will love just as much as they love the phenomenal results!
