Cost of Course and Equipment Required

The cost of the course is R4,990.00, which allows access to the online educational portal for 4 weeks.

If you are a hair academy or salon wanting to train your staff, then you can train more than one person using the same online access code, for the same price (a big saving!) There will then be a cost of R500 for each certificate issued.

The Barbering Mike Taylor Education Handbook is also available in hard copy at R790 per book. This includes all of the information required for the theory exam for the Barber Trade Test.

Barber Kits are required as you will be doing practical work during the course which will be assessed as you proceed. The equipment you require includes:

3 mannequin head blocks, cutting shear, thinning shear, hairdryer, clipper and guards, neck brush, sectioning clips, cape, water bottle, cutting comb, styling comb, vent brush, cut throat razor, pre-shave oil, shaving cream, shaving brush, post shave lotion, blades, bowl, mannequin head clamp.

Barber Kits are available at the special price of R5,500 for all of the above. If you already have some of the equipment above then you will just need to purchase what you additionally need.

Perfect opportunity for Hair Academies and Salons to train their staff. Multiple usage of access code. To issue a certificate per student is R500 per person on top of the R4,990.00 fee.

If students already have the above equipment, they only need to order what they don’t have.
