Erin at Collab Hair shows off a flawless end result, perfect for this client's wedding . Click the image below to view the Instagram post. My guest came to see me for the first time and completely trusted me with her wedding colour ! We wanted an overall brighter blonde and nothing too ashy. We did a full make over to achieve this gorgeous blonde. I used Blond me premium lifting powder and 6%. We also did a wet balayage to brighten up the ends without causing unnecessary damage. For the gloss I decided to do 9,5-5 and 9,5-1 for a gorgeous creamy blonde ! I finished off her hair by creating effortless waves with my GHD chronos Stylist: Erin Salon: Collab Hair, Bedfordview Follow Erin on Instagram @erin_collabhair @collab.hair We'd love to feature your work! • Four dynamic days with Wella Color Expert Creative Immersion

The Wella Color Expert Creative Immersion was a four-day experience that brought together professional hairstylists, colourists, salon owners, and educators from across South Africa. The seminar was hosted by mhb at their Midrand studio from 9-12 February and immersed participants in a dynamic environment that combined artistry, technical mastery, and digital expertise, designed to push creative boundaries and inspire fresh perspectives.   The creative tone for artistic expression was set from the outset with a unique Sip & Paint session led by artist and designer Jana Aspeling . Participants tapped into their creative instincts, preparing for the seminar days that followed.   Throughout the event, participants engaged in classes led by Wella SA Senior Ambassadors. Consumer and Digital Advocate Warren Schultz  presented a social media power session to help participants enhance and refine their digital presence. Additional classes featured Jadie Herbst , who explored beautiful, salon-friendly styling techniques, and Flo Neacsu , who guided participants in creating cohesive, trend-forward collections. Those looking to refine their blonding and toning skills were fortunate to learn from Charles Junior Louw , who shared insights into crafting beautiful blonde looks. • EOHCB: Balancing Educational Development & Work: How Employers Can Support Staff Wellness

In today's multifaceted world, many employees juggle the demands of their professional responsibilities with educational pursuits. Employers who support staff wellness in this context not only enhance employee satisfaction but also foster a more engaged and productive workforce. Here’s how employers can effectively support staff who are managing both school and work commitments.  Employees who are pursuing education while working face a number of challenges, including managing time effectively, dealing with stress, and maintaining their health. When employers recognise and support these challenges, they contribute to the overall well-being of their staff, leading to several benefits: Increased Employee Engagement:  Supportive work environments increase employee motivation and commitment. Improved Productivity:  Employees who feel supported are more likely to be productive and focused. Enhanced Job Satisfaction:  Balancing work and school can be stressful, but a supportive employer can alleviate some of that stress, leading to greater job satisfaction.    Encourage and Facilitate Work-Life Balance A holistic approach to wellness includes supporting employees’ ability to balance work, school, and personal life. Employers can: Promote Time Management:  Provide training or resources on time management and stress management to help employees navigate their dual responsibilities. Support Well-Being:  Encourage employees to use their off days and personal time to recharge and manage their stress levels.   Create a Supportive Work Environment Fostering a supportive work environment helps employees feel valued and understood as they manage their academic and professional responsibilities: Open Communication:  Maintain open lines of communication so employees feel comfortable discussing their needs and challenges related to their school and work balance. Recognise Achievements:  Acknowledge and celebrate employees’ academic achievements and milestones, which can boost morale and motivation.   Foster a Culture of Support and Understanding Creating a culture that values education and personal growth can enhance employee satisfaction and productivity: Encourage Peer Support:  Foster a culture where employees support each other’s educational and professional goals. Leadership Support:  Ensure that managers are trained to understand and support the challenges of balancing work and school.   Benefits of Supporting School and Work Balance   When employers actively support staff in balancing school and work, they reap several rewards: Enhanced Employee Loyalty:  Employees are more likely to remain with an establishment that supports their personal and professional development. Increased Productivity:  Employees who are less stressed and more engaged are typically more productive and efficient in their roles. Positive Work Environment:  A supportive approach to work-life balance contributes to a positive and collaborative workplace culture. Supporting employees who are balancing school and work is an essential aspect of promoting overall wellness in the workplace. By offering flexible work arrangements, educational support, and fostering a supportive work environment, employers can help their staff manage their dual responsibilities effectively. This not only enhances employee well-being and satisfaction but also contributes to a more engaged and productive workforce. Investing in staff wellness through support for educational pursuits demonstrates a commitment to employees' personal and professional growth, ultimately benefiting both the individual and the establishment.
