As such, non-party legal owners will not be obliged to make payment of the bargaining levy of R 524.00, until further notice. The Basic Council Fee of R 225.75 will remain applicable. • Furr Hair is Looking For a Chair Rental, Cape Town

Furr Hair is a vibey hair salon in the lifestyle center Wembley Square in Gardens, Cape Town and has one last workstation available as a rent-a-chair setup. Wembley Square is a trendy center which has a very popular Virgin Active Gym, Vida E Café, Kead, Ben Wei Restaurant, a large residential complex and the Amazon Head Quarters to mention a few! The center has underground parking and some on-street parking. The setup allows you to run your own business without the hassle of running an entire salon - you just get to focus on what you love! Our existing stylists are made up predominantly of previous salon owners who have made far more money spending less time working, with far less admin and stress. Others have moved from a commission setup where they get to keep more of their turnover. Ideal candidates for this workstation: • A stylist who is working in the town area and looking to be their own boss and move away from the commission-based earnings with a client base that will follow them. This would make financial sense should your turnover be R25 000 and more. • Existing Salon Owner – Someone who is looking to close their salon and transition to a more lucrative and admin light working environment. Ideally from the same area as Town so as to retain their client base. The salon has an inverter so when Eskom lets us down, the lights still stay on! For the right candidate we are willing to assist with setup costs. Contact Sharon on 082 851 2002. Registration and Compliance It is very important that all chair rentals comply with the correct industry legislation and that they are properly registered and up to date with the basic Bargaining Council fees as stipulated. This ensures that every business operating from the premises is compliant and correctly registered, providing peace of mind for all parties as well as clients! Please contact the Bargaining Council for any assistance in this regard. www.hcsbc.co.za Contracts and Agreements A chair rental agreement is only as good as the contract that governs it! A proper contract will protect all parties and ensure peace of mind and a harmonious working relationship. As part of the EOHCB membership, assistance with contracts is offered – please contact them for more info and assistance. www.eohcb.co.za Rental vs Employment There are many salons at this time offering two options: chair rental, or to be employed by the salon. If you prefer to work as an employee then please get in touch with the salon and discuss whether this is an option.

  • Inebrya Presents the New Blondesse Miracle Gentle Lightener Protect

The two biggest components in hair are keratin (a protein) and water, with keratin being the most significant. Keratin chains keep its structure via different bonds, being Saline bonds, Hydrogen bonds and disulphide bridges. Chemical processes, heat styling, poor products, environmental factors, etc. can damage these bonds and result in different degrees of damaged hair. Most new hair products released in the last few years focussed on the re-structuring of the disulphide bridges during and after the chemical service. New research has shown that we cannot focus on the disulphide bridges alone but should in fact focus on the denaturation of the complete protein instead. The Inebrya laboratory has functionalized an Osmo Protector active ingredient that can maintain the osmotic balance of hair proteins, protecting not only the sulphur bridges but also the keratin structure, which results in maximum hair hydration during and after the bleaching service. The protection granted by the new patent pending system does not result from a strengthening of a single bond, but from a global efficacy that prevents the hair from losing its osmotic balance during the bleaching service. In this way proteins do not undergo denaturation and the hair fibre is not damaged. This new bleach is ideal for people who have frequent bleaching and lightening services. Its formula is enriched with violet micro-pigments that neutralises the undesired pigment to achieve up to 7 levels of lightening. The powder is fragrance free to fully respect the scalp and to prevent allergies or intolerances to synthetic fragrances in clients and staff. Instead, thanks to new technology packaging, the packaging releases a pleasant fragrance through coloured pearls inside the cap. The product achieves the best bleaching performances in a single step, keeping the physiological conditions of the hair intact, leaving the hair visibly restructured, shiny, controlled and moisturised. • 5 Shades of Summer by Illumina Opal-Essence

It’s time to think about customising your colour offering to give clients a summer hue perfectly suited to them. Our recommendation? Adding Opal-Essence to their colour service by mixing it with an Illumina base, using it to tone, or as a single colour application for a sheer, milky finish. Opal-Essence from Illumina Color has five metallic, no-depth shades. Each shade leaving hair with a soft sheen and reflecting both cool and warm light, creating an effect reminiscent of sheer textures or light reflecting on moving water - making this the perfect finish to fresh summer colour. These shades are extra special because of their innovative formulation. Inspired by top stylists, Wella Professionals’ smart technology captured their colour vision by formulating it into custom shades. Illumina’s opalescent shades The five Opal-Essence shades are formulated for gliding over the surface of the hair, spanning every shade from metallic rose-pink to burnished copper tones – leaving hair shimmering. Silver Mauve An intense violet hue with a silver sheen. If your client is currently sporting an icy blonde shade, this could be their new season update. Chrome Olive Bored of brassy blonde? Remove warm tones with this metallic olive green with its touch of silver chrome for a cool, light-reflective finish. Platinum Lily Jazz up a pale blonde with this beige blush hue. The platinum finish keeps the shade feeling fresh. Titanium Rose The new rose gold takes your client’s shade into the new season with a touch of titanium. Perfect for adding a blush hue to blondes and brunettes. Copper Peach Great for light brunettes, this warm copper has a touch of metallic peach shine to warm up their shade. These metallic hair shades are also the perfect multi-taskers: Reduce existing warm tones in hair by smoothing Chrome Olive through lengths or apply Silver Mauve to remove brassy tones, the most neutralising colour in the collection. Create different colour effects depending on your clients’ needs. For an even, opalescent shade apply the formula to block colour, or for a multi-tonal effect smooth over hair with pre-lightened sections. Opal-Essence shades can even be mixed with others in the Illumina Color range, opening new colour opportunities to suit every shade and style. With the new Opal-Essence collection, it’s always time to shine. Ready to stock Illumina Opal-Essence? Contact your Wella Professionals Sales Rep or phone 0860 104 109. Already stocking the shades? Ask your Rep about the Opal-Essence offers. About Wella Professionals Illumina Illumina Color instantly became a global beauty phenomenon setting a new benchmark for natural-looking hair colour with incredible shine and luminosity while providing irresistible hair quality. Patented Microlight technology smoothens the hair cuticles, so they maintain their clarity. This allows light to pass through, illuminating natural highs and lows from within – in any kind of light! Choose Illumina Color for natural-looking colour and incredible shine with up to 100% grey coverage. Your permanent colour will fade gently without leaving visible root re-growth. Shades range from very light to darkest brown and are perfectly suited to toning your colour-lifted hair while conditioning and adding dimension. Follow Instagram Facebook
