  • 21 VENTUNO: The 10 Minute Permanent Colour Solution for Modern Colour Clients

10minuti Express 21 VENTUNO – MADE IN ITALY The modern permanent colour solution for modern colour clients. Clients are increasingly hesitant to spend much time in a salon. They are also increasingly more concerned about ingredients used in colouring products, demanding safer and friendlier ingredients, as well as more compassionate manufacturing. 10minuti Express 21 VENTUNO is the ultra-fast colouring solution for current times, and is perfect for the health and environmentally-conscious client. A revolution in the world of colouring 10minuti Express 21 VENTUNO is the next step in modern colouring, with major advantages over traditional permanent colour: Colouring is ultra-fast with a processing time of 10 minutes, much shorter than the usual 40-45 minutes of other colour options. This means more clients per day, allowing for colouring and styling in less than an hour. Colour is non-progressive, preventing colour from becoming continuously darker as it is left in the hair. 10minuti Express 21 VENTUNO stops progressing after 10 minutes, all while covering 100% of white and grey hair. Available in kit form, with everything needed in one box. This is incredibly convenient for salon use, and ideal for clients to safely and effectively use at home. A trusted, safe and quality colour system to retail to your clients. Formulated with safety in mind – vegan materials, and free from undesirable ingredients. Colour has been dermatologically tested, and analysed in vivo and in vitro for maximum gentleness. An ecological, sustainable and safe colour choice. Easy to understand & safe 10minuti Express 21 VENTUNO includes 16 perfectly calibrated shades, with lightening up to 4 tones. Unleash the full power of concentrated pigments in just 10 minutes. Completely free of gluten, parabens, silicones, MEA, phosphate, formaldehyde, and SLS/SLES. Active ingredients 10minuti Express 21 VENTUNO gives salons better colouring performance with its active ingredients: Improves hair elasticity by restoring natural physiology. Hair is more resistant to breakage, preserving its cuticular structure, improving shine in the process. Colour is more uniform over the entire length, allowing for 100% grey coverage with lasting colour. Amino acid mix of vegetable origin with restructuring, repairing and reinforcing features of keratin. A vegan friendly mix that nourishes and replenishes the hair. What’s in the box? Everything you need: 60ml 10 minute express permanent colour 60ml 20 volume peroxide in shaker bottle with removable dispensing spout 2 x 15ml Post Color Restructuring Mask 15ml Velvety Hair Serum Instructions For purchasing, please contact us using any of the details on our contact us page: https://www.hairhealthbeauty.co.za/contact Or purchase online: https://www.hairhealthbeauty.co.za/hair-colour/permanent/21-ventuno

  • EOHCB Business Support: Fix What’s Broken and Become Better than Ever During Quiet Times

Business support: What we can do to fix what has been broken, and to come out on the other side better than ever before? The Covid-19 pandemic has had an impact on us mentally, financially, emotionally and physically. People have lost their loved ones, income, their businesses, their possessions, their hobbies and in essence, their freedom to live their lives the way they were used to. As we approach winter, this is quite a challenging time in our industry as business gets quieter. As an Employer, this could be an opportunity to focus on investing in your business and staff. This could be an opportunity to see what can be improved to make sure that when the warmer seasons approach, and it starts getting busier in your business again, the business and your staff are ready to utilise and capitalise the individual and collective discoveries, goals, and visions during the busier seasons. Utilise the quieter season by: Getting to know more about the industry: Understanding the culture, the trends, and the target market where your establishment is based geographically. Do some workplace renovations if needed? Evaluate the services and products that you offer in your business, what can be improved and what can be reduced. Engage with your staff. Take a coffee break with each individual to get to know them, get a better understanding of their mindset and personality. There is so much one can learn by just talking to a person one on one. Share your vision and goals with your staff. Set collective visions and goals. This may help them to understand and align with your vision, to ensure that you share the same mindset to reach the ultimate goal of growing the business and their earning potential. One of the best investments any Employer can do for his/her business is to understand and to invest in the emotional intelligence of staff and also to continuously define the knowledge and skills of Employees. According to ‘Indeed.com’, some of the benefits of training include: Increased productivity and performance Uniformity of work processes Reduced wastage Reduced supervision Promoting from within Boosted morale Improved knowledge of policies and goals Better workplace environment You may ask yourself why there are certain Employees that ‘outshine’ others, that have more clients or perform better in the workplace? We know that Employees ask themselves this question. Granted that there are most certainly those Employees that work harder and smarter than others, that excel in certain skills and talents based on their strengths. However, one of the things that you may have to consider as an Employer is whether others have been given equal opportunity to go for training to improve on their skills or ‘showcase’ what they can do? This is an excellent way of boosting staff morale and promoting uniformity in the workplace when Employees feel that they are seen and equally given the opportunity to improve their skillset. Training of Employees may also include improved knowledge of policies and goals. You may want to have refresher training on the policies and procedures of your business/the workplace, to remind Employees of what is acceptable and unacceptable in the workplace. In essence, you may find that Employees will adhere better to the disciplinary codes and rules that have been implemented within the workplace. When a person knows better, they do better. Once again, they may share the same vision to improve and grow the business. The ultimate goal is to have a good working environment, where there is increased productivity and performance from your Employees. In addition, you deserve a business whereby supervision is reduced and trust is the cornerstone of your relationship so that when you are not available physically, that your Employee keeps to the policies and procedures, goals, and visions of the business. • Salon Advice: Navigating the Next 2 Weeks

We are thrilled that the gazetted rules allowed for hair and beauty to be open so that salons can continue doing business. However, it is likely to be a fairly quiet two weeks as a lot of people are sick, quarantining, or waiting until we go up a level and the wave flattens. So what are you going to do during this time? Here are some tips to make the most productive use of your time! Popi Act: Register as an information officer for your business to make sure you are compliant. The EOHCB wrote an informative article on this which you can access HERE. If last minute cancellations occur, get the message out to your database or on social media, offer a special rate and see if anyone wants a discounted spot. Put time aside to do one on one hairdressing appointments – just you and the client in an otherwise empty salon! If this is possible in your business you might find people appreciate it at this time. Offer to send out homecare products and (for those who really need it) – even the “root kits” that were popular in the last lockdown. Again, you are making a plan while times are tough and helping people who can’t, or really don’t want, to visit an actual salon. Market yourself as a place of safety, do a video, take pics, update your social media. Even if clients don’t come in within the next two weeks, you will still be top of mind when they are ready to come back again. That is what you want. Engage with your clients, make sure they are well, these are anxious times. If your salon is quiet, take some time to spread the love and care. If your good clients are sick, send them a little care pack of goodies. And engage with your staff likewise! Make sure they are all OK. How can you help? Do they need time off to spend at home? Now is a time when you should be looking at shifts for your staff and allowing people a few days off to reduce risk, if times are quieter. Quieter times are great for planning! That way you are poised for success when it does get busy again. Make time for the chores and decisions and research that you have been putting off. Keep yourself in full active Energizer bunny mode, so that when things get busy you have the right mindset and are ready to embrace it.
