Following Cyril Ramaphosa’s speech last night on 11th January 2021, we are pleased and relieved that the National Coronavirus Command Council has clearly resolved to maintain “business as usual” as far as possible. Among the exceptions are land borders which are now closed, and schools, which will be subject to further discussion with updates given in a few more days.

During his speech, the President reiterated that every single one of us must take the protocols seriously – hand washing, wearing a mask correctly at all times in public, and observing social distancing at all times.

Please will all salons do their utmost to adhere to these protocols which are set out in detail HERE provided by the EOHCB.

Wishing you a safe, healthy January!
