NAK Hair Metallics Insta Competition Winners

A big congratulations to the winners in the NAK Hair Metallics competition.This competition, held in 2020, was open to all hairstylists who produced creative work in the salon, using the fabulous newly released NAK Metallics colour range.

My color and application was rather simple,

I started to pre lighten the whole head in foils off the scalp. The crown area was lightened with a lower volume peroxide to give a warmer appearance.

Once the Lightner has developed, we rinsed and shampooed with NAK Nourish shampoo, no conditioner was used.

I dried the hair slightly and applied the root color 7.313 with 5 volume, I smudged the color down slightly to give me a softer blend between colors. Once the roots where done I immediately started with the Mid-lengths and ends, I alternated with 10.68 & 8.212 with 5 volume and melted different sections down with the root color.

We rinsed the color, no shampoo and conditioned the hair with Hydra Therapy Mask.

The hair was then dried & styled. We did the make-up and I then took the after shots.

I've thoroughly enjoyed working with this range and the results, I'm truly impressed with the quality and shine this product gives. Starting this competition I really wanted to showcase something eye catching yet Elegant and soft, I've used the # YingYang application technique because it Represents 2020 to me.. Colour's used on Pre - Lightened base On the ying side Nak 7. 212 On the yang side Nak 9.212 With Nak Demi Activator.
