Here’s everything you need to know about our upcoming global 11 Seconds – Salon Stylist Competition.
WHAT IS THE COMPETITION?
Launched on the 2nd of April 2024, ELEVEN Australia (@elevenaustraliapro) is hosting a global 11 Second – Salon Stylist Competition on Instagram.
To enter, simply create and post 1 x 11 Seconds of ELEVEN Australia Instagram Reel showcasing our brand and products! Make it educational or entertaining and above all, make it FUN!(for conditions to entry and content guidelines, see below).
WHO CAN ENTER?
We’re calling on all social media savvy ELEVEN Australia Salon Stylists (aka YOU!).
As this is a global competition, please create your Instagram Reel in your native language (Don’t worry, we will translate it!)

THE PRIZES:
11 Finalists will receive: ELEVEN Australia Salon Stylists Finalists to receive a cash prize valued at $500 (USD)
1 Winner will receive: ELEVEN Australia Salon Stylist Winner to receive a cash prize valued at $5000 (USD)
4 Regional Winners will receive: Four Regional winners from Top South African stylists will each receive a prize of R5000
*All prize recipients will be announced via @elevenaustraliapro early May.
Finalists and winners will be selected by our Co Creative Directors Joey Scandizzo and Andrew O’Toole.
They will look favorably on your Instagram Reel entry/post that follows entry conditions and content guidelines, as well as videos that showcase our brand and products best.
CONDITIONS TO ENTRY:
Create at least 1 video of between 11-30 seconds long for the ELEVEN Australia Instagram Reel, posted to your own account (after the 2nd of April), showcasing our brand and products.
Make it educational or entertaining and above all, make it FUN!

You must have your account on public in order for the entry to be visible
You must adhere to the DO’s & DONT’s
DO'S
Do clearly showcase our products – #aestheticis a must!
Do lm in a light, bright setting (natural light) and (if speaking) speak clearly to the camera.
Do keep the background clean and tidy.
Do have FUN and celebrate ELEVEN Australia and our products.
DON'TS
Don’t mention or show competing haircare brands/products.

By participating in this competition, you issue the right for @elevenaustraliapro to repost your content
If the stylist is a finalist or a winner and is no longer an employee of that same salon when they entered the competition, then that salon will be awarded the prize.

Product highlight – tell us your favourite product and why you love it
Reasons to love – tell us why you love ELEVEN Australia (performance/results, scents, packaging)

Colour formula cocktails
Product routines – tell us your favourite product combinations for specific hair concerns i.e use HYDRATE S + C if you have dehydrated hair

APRIL (LAUNCH)
April 2nd – 11 Second - Salon Stylist Competition goes live! Keep an eye out for the Joey video posted to the @elevenaustraliapro Instagram page.
April 2nd – April 30 - To enter, be sure content is posted between these dates!
APRIL / MAY (POST-LAUNCH)
April 30th – Competition closes on April 30th.
May 6th – Finalists announced on @elevenaustraliapro on May 6th.
May 10th – Winner announced on @elevenaustraliapro May 10th.
