Tips for Success in Creating Your Look

• Learn More about the Sought-After French Balayage.

• L’Oréal Professionnel has put together a special Access course just to inspire you on the beautiful and sought-after look. You can do the course HERE to give yourself an edge in the competition.

Your team: You can enter individually or team up with one other stylist if you like.

Your model: Remember that the model is a key part of the competition who will “sell” this look. If you win through to the next round, you can choose whether to use the same model again or a different one (You do not have to use the same model all the way through the competition and you can create a different look if you win through to the next round).

Your hair: You can use extensions for up to 50% of the total look – however you must remember that you will have to create your style from scratch in the live finals, in 4.5 hours. So be sure that if you do use extensions you can colour them and apply them in this time.

Your colour: We recommend that you use L’Oréal Professionnel colour for your entry. Although you can use other colour brands if you are not a L’Oréal Professionnel stockist, you will have to use L’Oréal Professionnel hair colour if you win through to the finals!

Your clothing: Dress your model in black, nude or white for a minimalistic look that places all the focus on her stunning balayage.

Your make-up: Subtle make-up that enhances her natural beauty is what you should aim for.

Finishing your work: Show off a healthy, shiny and elegant look. It’s up to you whether you create volume, waves, or a sleek effect.

Entries must be submitted online, using the link below.

Entries close on 16 July.

Wishing you all the best!
