Hairdressing
National Qualification (3 years)
International Qualification (1 year)
We accept only 20 students a year to make sure you receive the best quality education possible, offering small highly exclusive classes, where we give each student individual attention.
Learners will complete their National South African NQF Level 4 Hairdressing Qualification (QCTO 102497), as well as an International Hairdressing Qualification which is registered on the UK & European qualification framework.
Blush Academy is a Kryolan International endorsed school accredited with VTCT and the qualifications we offer are registered on the UK & European qualification framework, so you can work anywhere in the world with our qualifications.
International Make-up Artistry Diploma
5 month base course
A 5 month Make-up artistry Diploma course covering all fields of make-up artistry from basic make-up looks to film & TV, fashion & photographic, face and body painting, special effects, and various Kryolan education programs recognized in more than 90 countries globally.
Advanced Make-up Artistry Courses - Fashion Make-up & Nails / Prosthetic Special Effects
1 year course
An exclusive one-year course for the individual who would like to obtain more than one qualification and who would like to specialize as a make-up artist in more than one field.
During this one-year course you will choose between 2 options of specialization:
Option 1
Fashion Make-up & Nails
This course is ideal for the individual who wants to work in the beauty & fashion industry. With this qualification you will be able to work as a make-up artist, nail technologist, hairstylist, and image consultant.
Option 2
Prosthetic Special Effects
If you love the TV & film industry, then this course is for you! If you have ever watched TV programs like Face Off and any good Sci-fi film, you would know that this is a truly artistic field of study.
Beauty Therapy
2 year course
First Year - Beauty Specialist
The first year the foundation for your career in beauty therapy.
Second Year - Body & Massage Therapy
Second year, you will delve deeper into Body therapy & Massage Therapies after which you will qualify as a Health & skincare therapist as well as a masseuse with a wide range of other beauty therapy career options available to you.
