Social Media Positivity Challenge Winner: Carbon Hyde Park

During lockdown, Hairnews ran the Social Media Positivity Challenge, with a fabulous prize of a Veaudry Demi Limited Edition Styler set, kindly sponsored by Veaudry.

The challenge was all about encouraging salons to post positive, uplifting content to engage their clients and keep an upbeat message of hope and excitement during difficult times.

We are thrilled to see how many hairstylists and salons rose to this challenge, posting fabulous and inspirational content.

The competition was judged by social media experts Ursula Brett from Ursula Brett Salon Marketing, and Ashleigh Hughes from Pink Pony Media.

Congratulations to the winner: Carbon Hyde Park.

Ashleigh’s comments on the judging were as follows: “It was really close between 3 entrants, Carbon, Titivate Hair and Excentric, but in the end I chose the winner by noting who followed the competition guidelines the closest. I have chosen Carbon as the winner. Carbon has a very engaging presence on social media in general and they've kept that up, perhaps become even more engaging, during the lockdown times.”

Carbon will be receiving the fabulous Veaudry Demi Limited Edition Gift Pack, and we will have an interview with Michelle Veaudry next week to speak about the ethos of positivity, and how it connects with their brand.
