  • January Hairoscopes

Astrologist Zema predicts your stars for January. For a full personalised reading, you can contact her on 083 430 1456. CAPRICORN 21 DEC – JAN 20 This is the time for you to (at last) take a good look at your career… You’ve been doing fine this year, but now have a good look at what you can improve for the New Year. You’re (mostly) intelligent and you can do a lot better. Think carefully and make contact with people who know what they’re talking about. Love life could do with a bit of strongish attention as well. AQUARIUS 20 JAN – 18 FEB Here’s something you actually have to pay attention to. Try hard. You do well with people, you need to get back into doing people things. This will not only bring financial gain, it will also boost the self-image, not something that you are usually short of. Not only will it improve your relationship, it could also bring in some much-needed money. So, we ask, what are you waiting for? PISCES 19 FEB – 20 MARCH Your past year has not been wonderful, but instead of complaining and killing people, take a breath and look at where you are headed. There is something that has been nagging at the back of the brain and now is the time to look at it. The best result is Money… Romance looks good, but the mouth needs to be taken down a degree or two or you’ll end up on a desert island. Try. Hard. ARIES 21 MARCH – 19 APRIL If you make lists and keep to them, you can’t go wrong this New Year. People and their silliness have been irritating you beyond description, so, some thought is called for. Ignore them, hide sharp instruments, hide in the cupboard … Something truly magnificent is coming this year to improve finances, but you have to think before you take action. Love looks good! TAURUS 20 APRIL – 20 MAY For some (strange) reason, young people, even children, are attracted to you, so perhaps you need to take a look at doing something special for them. This could also improve the love life by leaps and bounds! What more could you ask for? Money obviously, but you always seem to be on the right road with this. (The rest of us should be so lucky.) A new job offer seems to be looming. Think! GEMINI 21 MAY – 20 JUNE Because you are a Gemini, you can always see both sides of the story… Fabulous talent to have, but it can also end up confusing you like mad. If there is a difficult decision to be made about work, talk to someone. (Not another Gemini – you could go on until the year after next, up down, up down…) Love also looks good, but don’t keep that special person waiting too long. Do it. CANCER 21 JUNE – 22 JULY Cancer! At last! You finally seem to be choosing the right road. It’s taken a lot of thought and a long journey, but you can be proud of yourself – you’ve done the right thing. From now on, jog along the road and enjoy. Money seems to improve out of the blue too. One has to ask – what took you so long? The thing to pay attention to the most this year is, however, your spirituality. LEO 23 JULY – 22 AUG You’re usually pretty good with money matters, but the stars are telling you to make careful plans in this New Year if you want to realise that dream you have been having for so long. If you need a partner in this famous plan, choose carefully and you could end up being the King/ Queen! Travel is also a strong proposition, but choose a travelling partner carefully. Could be Lurve… VIRGO 23 AUG – 22 SEP You’ve gone a bit downhill in the last year with the perfection thing (you know that one that drives everybody nuts …). However, this New Year is going to get you back on track (run, everybody! Run!). You suddenly look in the mirror and decide on changes. This could involve a new job that will truly test your patience with your attention to detail but could also be exactly right for you. LIBRA 23 SEP – 22 OCT There’s an awful lot of stuff you want to do this year and you can – it just depends on how long you’re going to take to get to it. Try not to make too many lists while time passes by. Love life looks good but you need to get on with it. Even job looks good, you’re always admired for being a hard worker. Most people like you most for your sense of humour when you switch it on… SCORPIO 23 OCT – 21 NOV You’re pretty good with people – your sense of humour and (mostly) sharp brain keeps you going at an amazing speed. Perhaps it’s just time that you slow down long enough to notice the person looking at you with lurve in his/her eyes! This new year could be just what you have been waiting for – dust off the shoes and get going! Endless possibilities – love, job, not killing anyone… SAGITTARIUS 22 NOV – 21 DEC Time to concentrate on your career in this new year as there appear to be endless choices. Sounds good, but the Universe is begging you not to get carried away… Choose one and stick to it like glue, you won’t go wrong. Look at your finances and try and hold back on buying the gold car and diamond necklace. Apply the same rule to admirers who are not always honest. Pay attention!

  • Launch: Hairnews Home Disaster Fixes

The Hairnews team is bringing you a brand new, fun and exciting series in 2018. Hairnews Home Disaster Fixes aims to promote professional hairdressing and drive clients into salons - while giving clients a second chance after making terrible decisions! How it Works Each series, we will advertise on social media for a client who has ruined her hair by trying to do it at home. It’s turned into an expensive disaster and she needs help fast! Hairnews will team up with the closest participating salon in her area, and will make a contribution to the costs of fixing the disaster hair! We’ll ask one of the salon’s retail suppliers to be a homecare angel, providing a set of products to continue the good work. The result? The salon hopefully gains a new, happy client who tells all her friends and spreads the word on social media about how her hair disaster was fixed! Awesome PR for everyone involved, particularly for the salon, and for the professional industry in general! Great hair days and second chances mean happy endings instead of split endings! If you would like to be a participating salon, please email info@hairnews.co.za with your salon name and area, and we will be in touch asap.
