Wella’s Destination event delegates inspired by South African stylist. Nicolas Anamouralis has been in the hair industry for 21 years and has worked with Wella for a decade. His passion for his craft and industry has lead him to open a salon on the coast of Durban, place as the runner up in Wella's National TVA awards and represent on this year's Destination Event Dream Team in Malta. Stylists and hairdressing industry experts from all over the world flock to a Destination Event each year to learn from each other. Held in Malta this year, the Destination Event presents an opportunity for industry leaders and clients to mingle, and for talented stylists to showcase their skills.
Each year the Dream Team is comprised of a group of international stylists who showcase their craft to hairdressing experts from over 30 countries.
Nicolas' journey started at the age of fifteen. Although his career started early, he says that he has always only looked backed and smiled at how blessed he is to do what he loves. Nicolas states, "I love sculpting shapes and playing with textures - there is nothing more on this planet that makes me happier." His passion has allowed him to keep inspiring people to push boundaries and to embrace change. It has given him the opportunity to be on a wave team for Wella in South Africa where he is able to share his passion with other hairdressers. After all he has accomplished, Nicolas has stayed grounded and notes, "my greatest achievement is the satisfaction on his clients face when they see their new look for the first time."
