On 22 March 2026, the long awaited Goldwell Glow Up Celebration of Color event happened at The Forum in Bryanston - an evening that delivered exactly what South African hairdressers are craving right now: inspiration, education, and real, usable techniques.

Guests arrived from 5pm to a buzzing atmosphere, with drinks, canapés, activations, and the Hairnews Photo Booth setting the tone before the show kicked off at 6pm. Inside, a slick stage set up with immersive LED screens ensured every detail of the demonstrations could be seen up close.
International Goldwell Global Artist Casey Coleman opened the show with a striking avant-garde finish, immediately raising the bar. With work spanning BBC, Netflix, Disney, and more, his presence brought serious global energy to the stage.
Twincare CEO Stav Dimitriadis welcomed guests, while Claire Wilson, Kao Head of Education with - with over 30 years of global industry experience - guided the evening with ease and authority.

Casey returned to present three completely different looks, breaking down his techniques, formulations, and approach in real time. With live camera projection, guests didn’t miss a single detail - making it as educational as it was inspiring.

Local talent also took the spotlight, showcasing their own creative work using current techniques and products. Each look was completed on stage and sent down the runway, bringing the work to life.

A key highlight of the evening was the reveal and explanation of Goldwell’s refreshed brand identity. More modern, vibrant, and youth-driven, the new direction was introduced alongside its signature colour, Bellini - marking a bold step forward for the brand.
A high-energy laser performance added an unexpected entertainment element, before Casey returned for a final showstopping long-hair look to close off the stage presentations.
To wrap up, Stav brought the phenomenal Twincare team on stage, with special recognition given to Gina for delivering a standout event. The evening ended with all models and stylists returning for a final runway moment, met with huge applause.
Guests then moved through to the afterparty, keeping the energy alive well into the night.
