Position: Senior Hair Stylist and Drybar Manager
Location: Revel Self-Care Salon, Stellenbosch
We’re a Salon perfectly located in the centre Stellenbosch, providing a range of services, manicures/pedicures, facials, wax, massages, retail shop, coffee shop, and a hair salon.
As an Independent Stylist at Revel Self-Care Salon, you will have the opportunity to establish and grow your own business while benefiting from the support and resources of our owner-managed salon.
We are looking for an individual with excellent cut, colour, and styling skills, along with a strong ability to provide outstanding customer service and build long-term client relationships. This position also entails managing a team of +/three junior stylists in our Drybar, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service delivery.

Your Responsibilities:
Perform a wide range of hair services, including cuts, colors, and styling, utilizing your advanced skills and knowledge to create exceptional results.
Provide personalized consultations to clients, actively listening to their needs and preferences to deliver tailored hair services.
Demonstrate expertise in both classic and contemporary hair trends and techniques, staying updated with industry developments.
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service, building rapport, and offering product recommendations to enhance clients' hair care routines.
Retain and cultivate a loyal client base, actively engaging in client retention strategies and building long-term relationships.
Manage and supervise the Drybar team, including scheduling, training, and providing ongoing guidance and support.
Oversee the delivery of wash, treatment, and styling services by the junior stylists, ensuring consistent quality and adherence to salon standards.
Drive sales of salon products by effectively promoting and recommending suitable products to clients.
Manage Drybar’s professional and retail stock.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, following salon hygiene and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a hair stylist with a focus on cut, colour, and styling techniques.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and staff.
Proficiency in managing a team, providing guidance, and fostering a positive work environment.
Must be able to work independently and show an owner type of mindset.
Demonstrated ability to sell salon products and meet sales targets.
Knowledge of the latest hair trends, styles, and techniques.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
Drive training and learning opportunities.
Valid hair stylist license/certification.
Prior experience and references are essential.
