The Pantone colour for 2021 has been announced – and it’s sky blue.
This colour is a progression from the shade that was chosen as the 2020 color, classic blue.
Trend-savvy Pantone inspires designers, brands and all those who always want to keep up to date and find shades for interior design, fashion, and graphic design. Pantone explains that the sky can be many different shades of blue, depending on the time of day and season, so this is not simply a light blue shade, but is open to many more interpretations.
The sky blue shade predicts a year in which trends are going to move towards calm and natural tones that, as Pantone states, “hint at the influence of raw dyes and recycling.”
