Process:

Starting with a large regrowth at level 5 and pre-lightened ends at level 9 from previous highlights. Client was seeking something new with lower maintenance, a rich - darker base colour utilising some existing light ends and smooth fluidity overall.

My formulation:

All Schwarzkopf Professional

Roots - IGORA 3-19 + 4-0 + 5-21 equal parts 1-1 20vol

Ends - VIBRANCE 0-00 + 6-0 + 7-0 (10G each) + 5-7 + 6-12 (5G each) 1-1 13 vol lotion

Sectioning away the hairline around the face in a zig-zag type pattern from ear the ear (Section A)

Section B being everything else.

Roots

Section B- tint from zone 1 halfway down zone 2

Section A- tint from zone 1 just into zone 2

Ends

Utilising the milking technique I blended my toner into my root colour on Section A and B for a soft blend from dark to light giving us the colour melt effect.

Elegant and low maintenance.
