This blunt one-length bob, with its shimmering blend of blonde tones, was created by Skaiste Buinicke at Brooks & Brooks, London, winning her Snapshot Image of the Year 2025 at the Fellowship for British Hairdressing Awards. It’s a look that creates an impact from every angle. Here’s how to get the look.

Step 1: Precision Cutting

Begin with a strong, blunt one-length bob to create a strong foundation for your colour application.

Step 2: Create the Crown Blend

Take a diamond-shaped section at the crown and apply a rich blend using L’Oréal Professionnel Dialight 20g of 4
+ 10g of 5.8
+ 5g of 5.07
Mix with 6 vol developer for a soft, delicately enhanced finish.

Step 3: Lighten the Underlayer

Pre-lighten the under sections using Blond Studio 9 and 20 vol for brightness and contrast.

Step 4: Tone for Gloss

Tone the lightened hair with a captivating mix of 20g of 10.12
+ 10g of 10.2, with 9 vol developer for a perfectly glossy finish

Step 5: Simple Styling

Blow-dry smooth and finish with irons for a glossy finish.
