EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED: Goldwell presents ColorSphere - The Global Event for the Professional Color Community

Goldwell is set to revolutionize the world of color with the launch of an exciting global experience where the community comes together to collaborate, connect and create!

On September 14th and 15th, 2025, leading stylists from around the world will convene in Milan for the debut of ColorSphere, an innovative collective celebration of artistry.

Colorists, stylists, and salon professionals will gather to explore the latest in Goldwell’s color innovation. With trend talks, interactive workshops, hands-on sessions, and model showcases, ColorSphere will transform Milan into a dynamic hub of creativity and skill, empowering professionals to enhance their craft and elevate their potential.

WHAT WILL BE DIFFERENT IN 2025: HSOTY

This year, not only will South Africa encourage its local talent to compete on the global stage by submitting their entries to the Goldwell Global Creative Awards for judging, five finalists per from the Creative Colorist and New Talent Colorist divisions will showcase their work at the Twincare Hairstylist of the Year competition happening on the 3rd August 2025 at the Lyric Theatre, Johannesburg.

The National Winner for each division will be announced on the 3rd August 2025 at the Hairstylist of the Year competition!

WHEN IN MILAN: TWO DAYS FUELED BY COLOR CREATIVITY

During two immersive days, attendees will experience a multi-sensory journey. The event will be a meeting point for the global color community: Artistic teams will share their insights, salon professionals will connect, learn, and exchange ideas with peers from around the world while networking with the most influential content creators, and the entire community will celebrate the craftsmanship of everyone.

ColorSphere will culminate with a thrilling evening show to celebrate the winners of the Global Creative Awards, the must-see on-stage color competition where the most talented finalists from around the world compete live in diverse categories to showcase the industry’s freshest thinking and reward color-loving stylists for their most trendsetting work.

HOW TO ENTER GCA:

• Read the criteria carefully at https://globalcreativeawards.com/en 

• South Africa will sponsor two categories; Creative Colorist and New Talent Colorist.

• All entries open on 15 May, and must be submitted by 31 May, 2025.

• All competitors must have completed an apprenticeship or be a qualified professional hairdresser.

• Five finalists per category will be chosen from which the South African Bronze, Silver & Gold winners will be judged and chosen by Kao International.

• Finalists will be required to present their models at HSoTY event, where the Top 3 Finalists and 1 National Winner per category will be announced.
