As confirmed in the President’s address on Thursday 3 December, certain areas of South Africa are experiencing a high second wave, and as a result, additional lockdown restrictions have been imposed in the Nelson Mandela Bay area.
Other areas are likely to follow and it is up to every one of us to do our utmost to curb the spread of infection. The EOHCB announced on 20 November that salon protocols would also be increased. This is a reminder to all salons to please abide by the protocols below – every effort that you make will help to reduce the spread of infection, save lives, and ease the burden on healthcare workers. Please be aware of the protocols below, and also stated in the link. Thanks to EOHCB for keeping the industry safe, informed, and compliant in this regard.
