The Keune Hairstylist Awards 2026 offer a global stage where artistry meets innovation. This is more than a competition, it’s an invitation to showcase visionary skills, inspire the next generation and join a worldwide community of creative excellence. Whether you’re a stylist, salon owner, educator, or freelance artist, this is the ultimate opportunity for you to unleash your creativity and showcase your true talent.
The competition is open to all hairstylists worldwide. National winners in participating countries will advance to the Global Finals where a panel of industry icons will evaluate each entry on aesthetics, creativity and professionalism to select the world’s finest hairstylists. The entry deadline is 31 March. National winners will be announced on 1 May 2026 and global winners on 30 June 2026.
South Africa will compete in the COLOUR and STYLE categories. A minimum number of national entries is required to proceed so you are encouraged to double your artistry and enter both categories!
There are amazing prizes to be won in the global finals:
1. Global Campaign Collab A professional Social Campaign shoot guided by Keune Global Ambassador Luke Benson. he results will be shared across all Keune social media channels and our global newsletters, reaching and inspiring our global community of over 250,000 people worldwide.
2. International Magazine Feature Your winning look will be published in Estetica, one of the world’s leading professional hair magazines. This recognition will provide exceptional visibility and prestige within the global community of hair professionals.
3. Trip to Amsterdam & Keune HQ An unforgettable trip to the Netherlands to visit Keune Headquarters. Step into our lab, explore behind the scenes, and enjoy a few heart-warming surprises along the way.
4. €1000 worth in Keune products To support the craft of hair professionals, the winner will receive €1000 worth of Keune products of their choice.
5. €3000 cash A reward to invest in your personal growth: from uplifting your skills with advanced training, elevating your creative journey with new projects or even take a well-deserved holiday to recharge.
6. Meet & Greet A personal encounter with the Keune family. Experience the warmth and passion that drives Keune’s heritage as the family welcomes you and celebrates your achievement together.
