Avlon Keracare is back in South Africa! 15% OFF for Hair News Subscribers

Iconic haircare brand Avlon KeraCare returns to South Africa with its natural hair‘wonderproduct’ Texture Release leading the route to market.

Texture Release is an advanced heat activated system that naturally loosens or straightens excessively curly or coily natural hair without the commitment of relaxing or causing damage to the hair. What makes the system unique is that hair reverts to its original state in just 12 weeks.

In addition to Texture Release, Avlon will also carry their KeraCare, Affirm, and AffirmCare ranges in South Africa.

Known for their “Professional Use Only” products, sold and licensed to salons and qualified hairdressers, Avlon in South Africa is distributed by Le Looks and product is available today.

Hair News Readers get a 15% discount on their first order until November 30th when mentioning HAIRNEWSPROMO when placing an order.

Jacqui McIntosh, Director of Education for Avlon Europe LTD, travelled to South Africa to provide training for the Le Looks sales and education team that will support salons and hairdressers. Speaking about Texture Release, she says“most Brazilian blowdries are associated with the use of formaldehyde. This isn’t the case with Texture Release. Texture Release is a Nano Technology Amino Acid based treatment.” She adds that “Texture Release will not change the hair structure permanently as it doesn’t break and reform any bonds in the hair but act as a filler to the hair structure that is activated by heat.”

Avlon had previously been in South Africa before pulling out of the market. Liketso Chakela, Sales Manager for Le Looks Distribution, says their trust in the products and the long-term commitment with Avlon ensures this won’t happen again.

“Avlon’s reputation precedes it because their products are just that good. In our 20 years in the haircare industry, we’ve seen few products in our salons and partner salons achieve such outstanding results.’ She adds that ‘The natural hair movement has been inspirational and our goal is to promote the beauty, diversity and health of black hair regardless of texture. We’re proud to say Avlon is back and is here to stay.”
