Breaking News!

On Wednesday 17 June, President Cyril Ramamphosa announced that after ongoing engagement with industry stakeholders, the hairdressing and beauty sector will be opened as part of Advanced Level 3.

The reopening will take place as soon as possible and salons will open with strict safety protocols in place. These have been discussed and confirmed with the industry organisations and with the approval of the NCCC Medical Board.

More information will follow very soon. We will bring you updates as soon as possible, and will also share all relevant information to help salons maximise their safety as well as making the most of every day in reopening, so that our industry can rebuild.

With grateful thanks to all those who have made this possible, and whose voices and efforts have contributed to this opening.
