Hairnews Achieves the 10,000 Visit Milestone

A huge thanks to all Hairnews readers for your support, engagement, and following the latest industry news.

For the first time ever, our website visits for the past 4 weeks have exceeded the 10,000 mark! On Monday we were at 9,999 – what a number, just one more to go! And on Tuesday we smashed through it with a new record of 10,349 visitors (and 7,052 unique visitors).

Website visits are just one marker we use to assess our reach, some people don't visit the website as many of our articles can be read in full in the newsletters, or else click through straight to another site (You Tube or the advertisers' site).

But just to compare, this time last year, we had 6,532 visitors for the same time period (4,277 unique visitors).

And in 2017 for the same time period, we had 3,502 visitors (2,282 unique visitors). So we are very happy with our growth, as it's a sign we are doing the best possible job for this amazing industry!

We could not do what we do, without the awesome industry supporters who publish regular news releases with us, and our amazing subscribers who read and engage with our content. (Thanks to our excellent search engine optimisation, we also get occasional enquiries from consumers wanting to be directed to stockist salons, which we always pass on asap!)

Thank you all – we are proud, grateful and excited to have reached this milestone. We will continue striving to bring you the best mix of news, the most exciting new products and special offers, and the hot-off-the-press announcements that rock the industry! We’re looking forward to reaching our next milestone, and to welcoming even more people within our amazing SA hairdressing industry, into the Hairnews family of readers!
