Wella Professionals is proud of the tradition of partnering with major Fashion Week events around the world. In April this year, Wella Professionals extended its New York, Paris and Milan Fashion Week sponsorship to include Lesotho Fashion Week (LSFW).
The much-anticipated, high profile event took place at sponsor Mpilo Boutique Hotel’s prestigious hotel in Maseru where Miss Lesotho 2019 Palesa Makara, attended the event. Local and international guest celebrities and business people made up the splendid and diverse guest list. In addition to Wella and Mpilo, Woolworths was also a sponsor.
World-class catwalk hair fashion enabled both the professional and consumer market to experience first-hand the magic that is Wella. Wella Professionals EIMI styling products were used to create showstopping looks that worked in harmony with the Spring/Summer fashion collections. Products included Stay Styled, Thermal Image, Pearl Styler and top-selling Glam Mist.
Wella’s partnership with Lesotho Fashion Week is grounded in the belief that Africa’s emerging and established fashion and beauty players canand shouldelevate African talent to the global stage. Fashion designers who showcased their Spring/Summer 2019 collections include Wild Laelia Designs and Tailored by Hessini from Lesotho, Forever Grey Fashion Gallery from South Africa, House of Irawo from Nigeria, Dihdah from Botswana, and Pattern Nation, a South African/Canadian brand.
