Sales Consultant Required in Central Johannesburg for a Market-Leading Professional Hair Care Brand

Our company, Modern Hair & Beauty, is the South African distributor of Wella Professionals, System Professional, Nioxin and Sebastian. Additionally, we distribute a range of other professional lifestyle and premium hair care brands.
You will be an essential part of our Johannesburg sales team where your success will be determined by qualities such as your excellent communication skills; ability to positively manage relationships with both customers, managers and the sales team. Furthermore, you have a good sales track record, strong administrative skills, and you are passionate about introducing professional products to salons.
The main purpose of this position is to grow and bring in new business through excellent customer care, maintaining relationships, and seeking out new clients in an established, high earnings-potential region.
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
Ensure sales targets are achieved
Maintain and grow existing business
Acquire new accounts
Attend trade shows and training events
Assists field technicians with in-salon demos and workshops when requested
Reporting and other ad hoc administrative tasks
Ensure confidentiality of company data
At least 5 years’ relevant sales / key account experience in a similar position
Own reliable transport
Valid driver’s license
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
Entrepreneurial qualities; team player, self-starter
Trade test is not required, but will be a bonus

Remuneration: Basic plus fuel allowance, commission and incentives
