Judges for the first round of the 2018 Color Zoom Challenge were Minette Mansfield from Hair Factor, Louise Ayres, Goldwell educator, and Jassy Mackenzie from Hairnews. They had the difficult task of choosing the five finalists in each category from the photographic pool of talent.

Minette Mansfield has a long and successful track record in the Color Zoom Challenge. She is a four-time national winner of this event, and has represented South Africa in the world finals at Berlin, Paris, Las Vegas, and Valencia, Spain. Minette was very excited to be judging this year, and gave valuable input from the perspective of a competitor who has seen the international stage first-hand. Thank you for your contribution this year, Minette.
Congratulations to all the finalists, and we are holding our breath to see who will be named as winners in the next round of judging – the winners will represent South Africa on Stage in Toronto, Canada, at the Global Zoom finals on September 30th. More news to follow soon!
