The Twincare Awards evening and the fabulous Biosense Apprentice of the Year Finals were held at Gallagher Estate on the evening of Sunday 1 September. This sit-down gala dinner event was an exciting celebration of excellence in the industry that honoured top performing salons, and awarded the phenomenal talent show in the Apprentice of the Year Finals.

These special awards honouring iconic individuals who have made a huge contribution to the industry through their talent, innovation and were given to Yvonne Bryson from Pasquale, Tony Martin from Yazo 4 Hair, and Terence from Terenzo Hairdressing International
Biosense Apprentice of the Year Finals
In this exciting event, each finalist was allocated a model and had to create two hairstyles on them. The models were then judged by the audience, without any audience member knowing which model belonged to which stylist. This made the event totally fair, and it was incredible to see the talent showcased as well as the high standard of hairdressing.
Congratulations to the winner, Jesse Gallant, who is a student at Images 1 Hair Academy in Port Elizabeth.
