Christilene Bush Collection: Let Carlton Academy Inspire Your Inner Artist!

“Love of beauty is taste. The creation of beauty is art.”

The beauty industry is ever changing, blowing us away with newer and better technology, trends and techniques. It’s hard to keep up if you want to form part of this industry. Is that you? Do you have a passion for beauty, fashion and hair? Do you want to bring your art to life? At Carlton Hair Academy, we believe that the artist inside you is waiting to burst out and we want to help you show that through hair.

Just have a look at our latest collection created by Christilene Bush, winner of the Davines World Style Contest 2013.

“We wanted to create something inspiring for our new generation of hairdressers. We created our looks by combining elements from the past, present and future with a focus on work that is elegant and timeless, yet thought-provoking.”

“In this look I used the model’s own hair plus extensions and three sponge bases. I rolled and moulded the hair around the bases and then used Davines More Inside Strong Hairspray to secure it in place and finished it off with Davines More Inside Shimmering Mist.”

“Here I used the model’s own hair and extensions and sponge bases. The bases were tailor-made for this look using a variety of sponges, cardboard and batting. The hair was then wrapped around the shapes using Davines More Inside Invisible Serum and finished off with Davines More Inside Strong Hairspray and Davines More Inside Shimmering Mist.”

“I used the model’s own hair for this look. The bases framing the face and centre parting were tailor-made out of moulded plastic with extensions wrapped around it. I used Davines More Inside Medium Hold Pliable Paste, Extra Strong Hairspray and Shimmering Mist to smooth and mould.”
