More About Lesley Jennison
Lesley began working in hairdressing at Vidal Sassoon in 1984. Whilst working there, she became the first colourist in the company’s history to hold positions as both head of colour and manager at the Covent Garden branch in London. She also worked with Vidal himself for many of the Vidal Sassoon shows and travelled the world extensively working in advertising campaigns, including that for the launch of Vidal Sassoon in China.
18 years later, Lesley moved into freelancing and started working at the REALHAIR salon in Chelsea, London. Her high profile clientele includes famous faces from the media, fashion, and literary worlds and celebrities such as Gwyneth Paltrow and Elle MacPherson. Her radical vision and flair for colour has made REALHAIR the ‘go to’ salon for unsurpassed colour genius. She has also worked her colour magic for fashion shows all over the globe, including Raf Simons, Alexander McQueen and John Richmond and worked alongside world-renowned photographers Simon Emmett and Rankin.
Lesley’s work regularly features in both trade and top editorial magazines and she can often be found at top international live hair shows with audiences of 4,000 or more. She loves everything about hair and styling but her absolute passion is colour, which continues to fascinate her.
