EKURHULENI WEST TVET COLLEGE GERMISTON CAMPUS CELEBRATES HERITAGE DAY WITH “STYLE”

EWC Germiston Campus hosted their annual hairdressing competition Wednesday 27 September 2017.

The objective and purpose of the competition is to give their students the exposure & knowledge of applying competition and make-up techniques and it also covers the following criteria: • Planning and preparing for the hair and make-up competition • Applying rules and criteria of sections • Selecting dress, make-up and accessories for the competition • Practicing and applying skills according to section criteria The students took part in two categories namely: Evening & Fantasy. The panel of judges were representatives from the hair industry:

Thys Ferreira - National Sales Manager (Twincare International) Brad Mills - Sales Representative (Twincare International) Doctor - Afro Hair Industry This proved to be an extravaganza of note.
