From 25-28 May 2017, the first ever Africa Eastern Cape Hair & Beauty week was held by Estudio Glam, in partnership with Buffalo City Metropolitan Municipality. Its aim was to acknowledge the contribution small businesses like salons make to the country’s economy, while tackling some of the challenges they face. The event provided a perfect platform to promote local hairdresser, make-up artists and fashion designers who showed their talents during this event. With exhibitions, runway shows and parties, this event was the place to be, and to be seen.
