Each year we look back at what has been, we celebrate the good, and we hope the bad does not repeat itself again. It’s sad to say that the one thing we have learnt from history is that mankind does not learn from history. We see this all around us every day. In politics, in business, and in people’s personal lives.
The most amazing thing about life though, is to see how people conquer their battles, and when they do, invariably there are other people involved. It may be an entire support system, or it may simply be a teacher, an uncle or a friend who was there when the chips were down. Often it is just the example set by a role model which inspired a person to persevere or make the right decisions at a crucial time.
This past year has brought home to me how important relationships are in our lives, and how important it is to nurture them, and to make an effort to understand why sometimes they don’t go the way we want them to. I have spoken or written about this a few times this past year and have decided to do something on a broader scale than just our company, in the new year.
Right now, though, I would like to thank everyone who has played a constructive role in the life of our team at MHB this past year. Whether simply making a purchase from us or engaging face to face in training or even via an email or a phone call. I sincerely hope we were able to be of service and contributed in a positive way to your life.
It has been a very busy year, as I find I have probably connected with fewer of our clients this past year than ever before. I hope to change this in 2023. I believe we are in for an interesting year, with many opportunities lying in wait. How we tackle these together will determine their outcome. I am looking forward to getting stuck in.
