Six luscious strands from Kurt Cobain’s noggin were recently up for auction by Iconic Auctions. Cobain’s hair was cut by a friend in 1989 and was up for auction with a minimum bid of $2 500 (around R35 000).
The final winning bid when the auction closed on the 15th May, was $13,800.00 (around R193 000) That’s an expensive haircut.
