Hairnews has had the special opportunity to interview debut author Stav Dimitriadis, well respected CEO of Twincare International, on his new book The Intervention.
Brad De Waal of Hairnews chats with Stav Dimitriadis about his journey of ten years of hard work to finally publish his work The Intervention, a thought-provoking novel that uses a wonderful mix of science fiction and science and passion to highlight what human society needs to save our world.
In his provocative debut novel, Stav asks the difficult question: what will finally motivate a world at odds with itself to rise up together and challenge what is essentially an environmental Armageddon that faces human society, one no longer in the far future but right now in the real world?
The Intervention: A work of passion that melds science fiction with real science and a hope for the future if we can work together towards a solution to tackle the world’s most crippling crisis facing us now. About the Author
Stav Dimitriadis is a Greek-South African raised in Ladysmith. He graduated with a degree in Political Science and today is the head of South Africa’s leading haircare and beauty distributor, Twincare International.
His love of extreme sports, in particular, Dirt Bike Endurance has seen him break 13 bones in 11 accidents, it would seem he may not be very good at it!
Stav is passionate about leaving his three children a world where they can experience the same beauty and wonders that he has. Frustrated with the lack of acknowledgment of the damage that we are doing to our planet as well as the seeming unwillingness to do anything about it, he felt compelled to write his debut book, The Intervention.
Stav spent the past 10 years working on his book. Finally, in September 2023, he published it.
