label m's Max Lamparter: Catwalk Inspiration in Salons

It's label m international educator Max Lamparter's third visit to South Africa... this time it was a countrywide tour with the focus on styling inspiration, and introducing new clients to the label m brand.

As the official haircare range for Toni & Guy, a major focus for the brand is on education, but with label m being the official hair sponsor for London Fashion Week for the last 17 years, fashion inspiration and product performance are also essential.

"It's not about products any more but about interpretation of trends," Max says. "The core of our philosophy is translating fashion into looks that will work on the everyday client. Label m makes hairdressing real and allows people to choose styles that are achievable with products that perform, bringing the catwalk to the salon.

Max created this beautiful work during his recent South African tour, assisted on stage by Carla Klue – House of Klue, Jaco and Susan from Cocoon Hair, and Jarrod Langson from Hand, and was hosted by Cocoon Hair, Terry Scott, Lois behind the Chair, Rolf Offermann, Kelly Red, Scar for the workshops.

Below is a highlight reel and photos from the events.
