SHORT COURSE IN HAIRDRESSING Duration: 6 Months: Monday to Thursday SETA Accredited beginner course is for the student who has a powerful flair for hair, but does not understand theoretic applications to practical’s. We begin the journey from A-Z in edited form. This course will benefit a naturally creative person who needs to understand the science of hair and beauty. In this advanced class, we will now hone new skills and introduce you to modern hairstyles e.g. Fashionable short haircuts, bonding techniques, and high fashion bridal styling and colouring. MEN’S BARBERING COURSE Duration: 3 Weeks: Monday to Thursday A fabulous NEW course introduced due to high demand for barbers! The men’s barbering will include the following. High fashion cuts, hot towel treatment, beard and moustache shaping, colour and clipper matrix. SPECIALIZED COURSES Duration: 2 Weeks: Monday to Thursday The specialized course is a course focused on learning a specific hairstyle or styling technique, in both ethnic and Caucasian hair. TRADE TEST PREPARATION Duration: 2 Weeks: Monday to Thursday The Trade Test qualification ensures that you are internationally recognized. This is your pride and gateway to recognition. If you are experienced in hairdressing but not yet qualified, the Dark & Lovely team will take you on this two-week journey to ensure you are fully prepared for this important test. FULL ACCREDITATION COURSE Duration: 3 Years A full Accreditation course is for natural born creatives. This will take you from a beginner to an expert! You will be taught the A-Z of all hair technology; product, management courses, make up application, and everything in-between. This full accreditation course will enable you to work in a high-powered hairdressing salon.
