Bridal Trends 2019 by Linton & Mac, UK

Linton & Mac directors Jenn Linton and Jaye MacDonald have predicted the top bridal hair trends for 2019, based on the spring-summer fashion shows.

The first of the trends is going low!

“Lela Rose Bridal and Monique Lhuillier’s Spring/Summer ’19 shows proved that low ponytails, low buns and loose low braids can create just as much visual impact as a high ‘hair up’ styles. To create an ultra-modern looking low ponytail on your client, create textured waves: prep hair with a texturising spray, tong with a large barrelled tong, ‘fluff’ the curls gently with your fingers, before adding a final further spritz of texturiser. Low buns look far more modern than high ones, but to really bring one in to 2019, keep it looking casual. Imperfection is key – you want it to look like the bride has pulled her hair back herself, with little care and effort, because she’s too busy having fun. Edgy details – such as wearing a low pony or braid to the side, rather than at the nape of the neck – take this look from traditional to innovative in one small step.
