Golden Scissors Finalists Prep for Boot Camp

The 2018 Golden Scissors Awards, held by Dark & Lovely, has now reached the final round of judging, with regional finalists chosen from all around South Africa. With a first prize valued at R200,000, this competition has inspired talent countrywide – and from a huge pool of entries, nine contenders go through to the nail-biting excitement of the finals!

But first – all finalists will be treated to an educational experience at the amazing Boot Camp, hosted by the Dark & Lovely Academy. This offers the finalists top-class education as well as intensive preparation for creating their competition entry.

Boot Camp includes in-depth knowledge on styling and cutting techniques to assist the competitors and boost their confidence. Competition etiquette, model choices, as well as a clear understanding of themes and how to interpret them, are all included.

Dark & Lovely Academy is proud to be offering this valuable education. We are excited to share our knowledge, and hope Boot Camp will inspire all the talented finalists to grow as hairdressers and reach new levels of professional excellence and career success as they prepare for the final event.
